Bruno Carneiro was born in São Paulo in 1999 and raised in Utah. His racing career started at the age of four behind the wheel of a go-kart.
He won multiple state championships from Kid Kart 50cc through Honda 4-Cycle, Rotax MiniMax and Junior 125cc. One remarkable part of Bruno’s career is that, from age nine, he helped finance his own racing by selling certificates door to door for longtime sponsor Rodizio Grill. He also delivered motivational talks and founded his own karting school.

- 2005Utah State Champion, Kid Kart Comer 50cc.
- 2006Repeated as Utah State Champion in Kid Kart.
- 2007Graduated to Junior 4-Cycle 80cc and finished Utah State Vice-Champion.
- 2008Utah State Junior 4-Cycle Champion; moved to Rotax MiniMax 125cc and finished sixth in the Challenge of the Americas.
- 2009Utah State Vice-Champion in Rotax MiniMax.
- 2010Eighth overall in the Brazilian Karting Championship Super Cadet class and a top-ten finish at the Ayrton Senna Winter Trophy in Italy.
- 2011Top ten among 55 competitors at the USA Rotax Grand Nationals.
- 2012–14Progressed through Rotax Junior, including fourth and third in the Utah championship and a top-15 national result.
- 2015Graduated to formula cars and became NASA Utah Pro Formula Champion in a Formula Mazda.
- 2016Won both the FIA Chinese Formula 4 Championship and the Formula Car Challenge championship.
- 2017Raced a Dallara-Mercedes F315 for Albirex Racing Team in the Japanese Formula 3 Championship.
- 2018Joined B-Max Racing in Japanese F3 and won the NASA/WERC Utah 6 Hour Enduro with Makes & Models/Harward Media.
- 2019Finished runner-up in Asian Formula Renault with two victories, one pole and three fastest laps.
